Gates open at 2 pm to displays and stalls.
2.30 Brass Band concert
3.00 Speeches, followed by ceremony of laying of steel.
3.30 Stalls etc open again, including further performance by the Band.
Other items will be added to the programme nearer the event.
Stalls and displays may include:
Bulkheads, hydraulic test rig, riveting test frame, CNC plate cutting, Model of Medway Queen, Photo displays, Medway Queen Sales Stand, Medway Queen draw, and Reading Group Railway Wagons.

Wednesday, February 4th, 2009Pressure test on bulkhead withstood 5 times required pressure, and still the rivets themselves did not leak!!!
Frame bulkhead 62 completed and riveted, Frame 49 bulkhead complete and drilled but not yet riveted. Frame 26 assembled and being drilled.
Starting to make Frame floor fabrications (starting with F 50 and going forward)
Condenser end off, tube plate inside looks good, can reuse
Crank shaft engine frames, partly dismantled to mill slideways, bolts look very good to reuse.
