History was in the making on Friday 19th September as the first sheets of steel were cut. These pieces will form part of the test pieces prior to full fabrication of the remaining frames and plates.

Wednesday, December 17th, 2008The latest from the shipyard is the arrival of the engine parts after being transported, by SWAIN & SONS LTD to Bristol from Medway where they were formally being worked on by MQPS volunteers. Talks are still progressing with the specification for riveting and sample rivets have arrived.
